| We will soon be able to offer fresh laid eggs on our breakfast menu thanks to our resident layers.
11 chicken of various shapes and sizes are making themselves at home in the latest development in our gardens, the Penmorvah Chicken Pen. The Chicken Pen has been constructed to provide the ultimate comfort and security of the hens, and Millie the hotel spaniel had already tested the fox proof electric fence and found it effective.
The chickens arrived on 24th June and to our surprise two eggs were found the next morning, and we look forward to many years of happy laying for our chickens. most of our chickens are laying now, although production is tailing off for the winter!
The chickens have been getting more and more adventurous over the last few months and can be found roaming all over the hotel gardens, and Millie is never too far behind.
